Contemporary Masters is a programme we are introducing with v1.1 of Cocktails comprising bodies of work by some of today’s most esteemed mixologists and bartenders. This programme enables you to explore some of the cutting edge ideas, new tastes and new ingredients in recipes crafted by those at the top of the field.
Our inaugural release includes a generous 78 recipes from Seattle mixologist Jamie Boudreau. We’re confident you will find in his recipes a rich trove of fresh ideas and techniques. In another first, we’re implementing in this release our first real batch of ingredient recipes: formulations for extraordinary ingredients you make yourself, ahead of time.
Jamie’s recipes also demonstrate new features the Contemporary Masters program offers. You can immediately recognize a recipe from the Contemporary Masters programme by its distinctive dark background and light text. Many of the recipes include photos of the finished drink. References to custom ingredients can be tapped for details. Finally, more history and lore about the recipe can be called up on the web by tapping the link in the citation.
